Keith Urban and Nicole Kidman’s sudden separation seemed inexplicable, but an insider claims that the reason is the country star’s rash choices.
The 57-year-old musician appears to have taken a series of strange decisions recently, and the breakup is one of those, according to a source close to Urban.
The Fighter hitmaker reportedly fired many of his band members who had worked with him for more than 20 years, back in January, and the insider told RadarOnline that it was his first decision prompted by a midlife crisis.
The source alleged that the Australian singer is also struggling with addiction issues again, after being sober for many years, and that could’ve affected his relationship with the Babygirl star.
However, the insider maintained that the problems between the couple weren’t new, but had been simmering under the surface of their “happy couple act” for a while, and then Urban abruptly pulled the plug.
The singer had moved into his own place in Nashville following the divorce filing, while Kidman is living with their daughters, Sunday Rose, 17, and Faith Margaret, 14. Their parenting agreement entails that the kids will spend 306 days a year with their mother, and 59 with their dad.
