As revealed by Franck Haise, Terem Moffi suffered a muscular injury during Thursday’s training session and is set to miss several weeks of action. It leaves Kevin Carlos, who has struggled since his summer move, having to fill in.
Moffi isn’t the only absentee. Moise Bombito is also out, having fractured his tibia during the draw against AS Monaco before the international break. He could, however, return as early as February; it had initially been feared that he would be out until the end of the season.
Haise is also without Ali Abdi (suspension), Mohamed Abdelmonem, and Youssouf Ndayishimiye in the defence. However, the Nice manager can at least count on the return of club captain Dante for this weekend’s fixture.
