UFC legend Nate Diaz has clarified his recent comments related to Charles Oliveira. The Stockton native was speaking to Clocked n’Loaded and was asked for his prediction for the UFC 326 main event.
Max Holloway defends his BMF title against Oliveira in the main event of the card. Diaz backed ‘Blessed’ to keep the belt while also saying he would slap Oliveira.
Diaz was also asked about potentially returning to fight at the White House event, and the UFC legend said that would be perfect.
However, the 40-year-old cleared the air regarding the comments from the video. It was originally reported by several outlets that Diaz said he would slap Holloway, but he corrected that in the new statement, and he tried to apologize for the same:

“I didn’t say I’d slap Max Hollaway I said that about Olivera but I shouldn’t have said that either it was rude and I was fd up”
Diaz added that the slap would have been something to try out in the octagon, but he had respect for Oliveira and Holloway:
“If we were fighting in a caged match I might attempt it but that was rude I shouldn’t have said that my bad Bruhs all Respecto”

Diaz remains one of the biggest names in the UFC despite his last fight being in 2022. The 40-year-old has tried his hand at boxing with a 1-1 record. He lost to Jake Paul in his professional boxing debut but won against long-time rival Jorge Masvidal in his next outing.
Nate Diaz hints at major return to UFC
The 40-year-old Nate Diaz also made a big statement regarding a potential return a couple of days back.
Diaz posted a clip where he challenged Jorge Masvidal to a BMF fight. The 40-year-old brought up that he started the division and had unfinished business:
“Let’s not act like I didn’t start a whole division bringing value to all these guys claiming they’re it. I gave opportunity and put notice on the dopest fights I got unfinished business and I plan on going and taking what’s mine asap 1st to ever start a division and the dopest one at that Your welcome motherf****** I’ll see you soon I’m coming”
Fans were left to decipher Diaz’s message, but most were split between Conor McGregor or Jorge Masvidal being the 40-year-old’s potential opponent.
Diaz is 1-1 against McGregor, while he lost to Masvidal in their only MMA fight before beating ‘Gamebred’ in a boxing clash.
