Washington Sundar has come of age with his all-round performance in the ongoing five-match T20I series in Australia. The left-handed batter scored a quickfire 49 off 23 balls to help take his team over the line in the third T20I and then returned with stunning figures of 3/3 in the fourth game. His all-round display helped India take a 2-1 lead in the series. Notably, Sundar wasn’t picked in the playing XI for the first two games.
Sundar was equally effective with the ball in the ODI series Down Under. The off-spinner bagged five wickets in the series. A proven match-winner owing to his all-round credentials, the 26-year-old remains crucial to the Men in Blue’s chances of winning the 2026 T20 World Cup.
In this article, we will compare Sundar’s records to those of Ravindra Jadeja.
